Take part in a global commemoration: WW1 Centenary
This year, the world is commemorating 100 years since the start of the First World War (WW1). The Great War touched the lives of all Australians. Although the generation that gave service and sacrificed lives is no longer with us, their voices still echo through their children and grandchildren. Numerous events, exhibitions and projects are planned over the coming months and years across the globe. The ANZAC Centenary (2014 – 2018) will also shine a spotlight on the commitment and sacrifice of those who served in the First World War.
